Unpacking Privilege to Create Space For Joy

Having privilege often generates feelings of guilt and shame. It is easy to linger in the intensity of these feelings, or to step back away from them into indifference or disassociation. Joy comes from living fully connected to ourselves and others. Metabolizing the guilt and shame of privilege is a necessary step to a more joyful life. We will think about privilege we hold, how it impacts relationships in our life, and explore ways that we can show up for the connection being asked for.

Queer Welcome, Celebration & Mixer

Hey Queer Fam! Come and share food, stories, and yourself. We will introduce ourselves, connect, play, listen, and share the love. Let’s practice carrying belonging inside ourselves and sharing our hearts in community.
