Singing The Bones
Most of us are living at some distance from where we came from — from land, language, lineage, and the traditions that once held our people together. That distance has a name: diaspora. And while it's one of the most common human experiences of our time, it's rarely named, let alone tended to. Singing the Bones is an invitation to begin that tending. In this 90-minute session, singer and songwriter Lydia Violet draws from her full immersive curriculum.
