Intro to Improv - You Are a Storyteller

As human beings, we are wired to consume stories & to create stories. Our brains recognize patterns & we infer meaning from the world around us. The tools of storytelling are largely the same, all that changes it the medium. This is an on-your feet physical & verbal storytelling workshop. You will play games, do fun storytelling exercises & learn tools to help you connect. This class is for all levels of people who are looking to up their empathetic communication & storytelling game.

Theatre Games - You Have Presence

Put a child or dog on stage & they will outshine the greatest adult actors. The behavior of children is so truthful, committed, spontaneous & un-self conscious that they are fun & interesting to watch! Children have presence; they were born with presence. Assuming that you were once a child, you have presence. Rediscover make-believe, ignite our imaginations, free up impulses & play to bring out our natural presence. This workshop draws from theatre games, improv & the work of Patsy Rodenberg.
